Your Child Needs More Than Extra Practice—They Need a New Approach

If your child has been working hard but still struggles with decoding, fluency, or comprehension, you’re not alone. Many students—especially those with dyslexia, ADHD, or learning differences—fall behind not because they aren’t trying, but because they haven’t been taught in a way that meets their needs.

Our 1:1 tutoring is for students of all ages who:

  • Are behind in reading despite years of classroom instruction.
  • Have tried general tutoring or online programs without meaningful progress.
  • Are diagnosed with or suspected of having dyslexia or other reading-based learning challenges.
  • Need a safe space to build skills without shame or frustration.
  • Thrive with structure, consistency, and encouragement.

Structured Literacy Tailored to Your Child’s Needs

Every tutoring session is designed using the Science of Reading framework—an explicit, systematic approach proven to help struggling readers develop the foundational skills they need.

Tutoring may include:

Phonological and phonemic awareness

Decoding and encoding (phonics and spelling)

Fluency and word recognition

Morphology and vocabulary development

Reading comprehension strategies

Writing structure and support, when appropriate

Instruction is multisensory, sequential, and tailored to each learner’s pace. Whether your child needs intensive decoding work or help organizing their thoughts for reading and writing, we meet them exactly where they are—and move them forward.

A Predictable Routine That Builds Confidence

We keep it simple—and supportive.
  • Initial Consultation: We meet with you to discuss your child’s learning history, goals, and any formal evaluations.
  • Assessment: If needed, we conduct a short skills inventory to determine where your child is struggling.
  • Customized Plan: We create a tutoring plan tailored to your child’s strengths, gaps, and learning preferences.
  • Ongoing Sessions: Each 60-minute session follows a clear structure with review, instruction, practice, and feedback.
  • Parent Updates: You’ll receive regular progress summaries and tips for supporting your child between sessions.

Common Questions About Tutoring

Does my child need a dyslexia diagnosis?

No. Our tutoring is effective for any student with reading challenges, diagnosed or not.

Not at all. Many students who resist traditional schoolwork actually find our sessions refreshing. Lessons are engaging, age-respectful, and paced to keep things moving — even the most reluctant learners often say time flies because they feel seen, supported, and capable.
That’s exactly who we help. We meet students where they are and move forward, one clear step at a time.

Absolutely. Ask for a sample lesson walkthrough during your consultation.
